Marlene is graduated with a degree in Humanities from The New School of Social Research. She also holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from The Fielding Institute. 
Past President of Summit area chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW).

 

Marlene with her partner Carole Picard created and implemented, two companies. The mission for both these companies was to have projects based on career development with the mission to bridge the gap between work and family.

- Womenpower Project, Inc a non-profit created the first Center for Women Affected by Alcoholism,

funded by NIAA.

​

- A Cancer Research Project, "Looking for Rosie the Riveter", studying women who worked during WWII

funded by the NJ Department of Occupational Health and Safety. 

​

- MCM Associates pioneered in Spouse Relcoation Career Development for AT&T. 

​

Marlene was in business for over 25 years with the goal of empowering women and men to achieve equality. ​

Marlene loves to take ballet classes several times a week and also swims. She is especially devoted to her constant companion, her dog Maddy.
